Participants: Approximately 90 students from the Degree Engineering program participated.
Key Highlights: * The college introduced its first Green Policy to the students and social media.
The ECO club coordinator demonstrated the reuse of plastic waste for gardening.

Organization: The workshop was organized by Shri Labhubhai Trivedi Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLTIET), Rajkot, in association with the Institution's Innovation Council (IIC).
Expert Speaker: The session was delivered by Dr. Anamik Shah, former Vice Chancellor of Gujarat Vidyapith, Ahmedabad, and a distinguished researcher who has guided over 70 PhD students.
Additional Speaker: Dr. Ramesh Bhayani, Project Director at O.V. Sheth Lokvigyan Kendra, Rajkot, also spoke briefly about the importance of science and innovation.

FIT INDIA Freedom Run 2.0
Context: The event was organized at the SLTIET Campus in Rajkot on October 2, 2021, as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations.
Participants: Over 100 students along with staff members participated in the event.
Activity Details: * Participants gathered at various city locations such as Mavdi Village and Love Temple on Kalawad Road.
The event included a 1.5 km warm-up walk followed by a 2 km competitive run.
The run was divided into two zones with starting points at Kankot and Mavdi Police Station, both ending at the SLTIET Campus.
Logistics: Volunteers were stationed along the routes and at the finish line to record timings. Medical teams were also appointed for safety precautions.
Coordination: The event was successfully coordinated by Sports In-charge Ghanshyamsinh Zala and Prof. Jeet Mehta.

Town Planning Expert Talk
Organization: The event was organized by the Civil Engineering Department of Shri Labhubhai Trivedi Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLTIET), Rajkot.Date and Time: It took place on April 20, 2022, from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M..Resource Person: The talk was delivered by Mr. Keyur Vanpariya, an alumnus and current Planning Assistant in the Town Planning and Valuation Department of the Government of Gujarat.Target Audience: A total of 63 students from the 4th and 6th semesters of both the Degree and Diploma programs attended.Topics Covered:The core intention of town planning is to meet future generations' needs and manage growth.Key principles discussed included zoning, green belts, housing, public buildings, recreation centers, road systems, and transport facilities.The session also covered government views on residential building principles and the implementation process for passing plans through local authorities.Outcomes: Students were trained on civil engineering drawing symbols, building bylaws, and regulations considering green building aspects.Coordination: The event was coordinated by Prof. Sagar Vasoya, and Prof. Vinod Panchal (Head of the Civil Department) expressed gratitude to the speaker.
NATIONAL YOUTH DAY
Context: The event was organized by the SLTIET Library at the SLTIET Campus in Rajkot on January 12th. It was held as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations to mark 75 years of Indian Independence.Purpose: The main objective was to revive the memory of Swami Vivekananda and popularize his message among the youth.Activities:Educational Media: A story about Swami Vivekananda’s life was presented via video.Competitions: The library organized a Quiz Competition and a speech session on Vivekananda's life and thoughts.Speeches: Students Jay Sondagar and Harsh Zinzuvadiya delivered speeches on Vivekananda's work spirit and philosophy.Keynote: Principal Bharat Ramani spoke about how youth can become fearless and courageous while cultivating a spirit of service.Recognition: Students who gave speeches were honored with books.Management: The entire program was conducted and managed by Prof. Chetas Oza.
