The Training and Placement Cell (TPC) of Shri Labhubhai Trivedi Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLTIET), handles campus placements of the B.E. & Diploma students across all the available branches. The TPC of SLTIET is continuously ready to provide support to the students to achieve their career goals by acquiring employment seeking skills. This cell also works on building a strong bond between students, faculty members, alumni, and industries. The Placement Cell plays an important role in molding the student’s confidence and personality development, so that they perform their best. The Placement Cell provides complete support to the visiting companies at every stage of placement process. Arrangements for Pre-Placement Talks, Written Tests, Interviews and Group Discussions are made as per the requirement of the visiting companies.

OBJECTIVES

Providing requisite training to students in the area of Personality Development and Communication Skills.
To promote career counseling by organizing expert lectures by senior corporate personnel.
Maintaining regular interaction with the industry through Seminars, Guest Lectures, Conferences, and Corporate Meets etc.
To prepare students to face campus interviews by arranging training in Aptitude tests, Group Discussions, preparing for Technical and HR interviews through professional trainers.
To organize campus interviews and provide internships to the final year students at industries and reputed businesses.

PLACEMENT PROCESS

The placement cell initiates primary communication with the recruiter
The recruiter shares Job Description document with us
The placement cell gathers all the minute details about the opening and circulates among the students
The students go through the Job Description document and only interested students would apply through registration link
The placement cell shares the data of registered students with the recruiter
Recruiter takes the recruitment drive further as per their pre-defined process. The placement cell facilitates the full process end-to-end.
Recruiter announces the final results once their process is finished. The selected students are freezed for that particular recruiter. The placement cell follows One Student One Offer policy. Which means one student is not allowed to appear for the other recruiters if he/she is already selected. However under certain circumstances it is allowed only after due permissions.
